Doctile · doctile.lv and doctile.eu · Approved and effective from June 5, 2026

These Terms of Service (hereinafter — the “Terms”) govern the use of the website doctile.lv and doctile.eu and the Doctile services (hereinafter — the “Service”) by SIA “Doctile”, registration No. 40203744576, legal address Sietnieku iela 3–1, Mārupe, LV-2167, Latvia (hereinafter — “Doctile”, “we”).

By registering an account with Doctile, using the Service, or otherwise using the Service, You confirm that You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

1. Definitions

2. Description of the Service

Doctile provides a cloud-based SaaS service that includes:

3. Account registration and use

To use the paid Service, You must create an account by providing accurate and truthful information. You are responsible for the security of your account access credentials (password, two-factor authentication) and for all actions carried out from your account.

By creating an account, You confirm that:

4. Subscriptions and payments

4.1. Plans and prices

Doctile offers several Subscription plans (Free, Starter, Business, Enterprise). Current Subscription prices and features are available on the Doctile website at doctile.lv and doctile.eu. Prices are stated in euros (EUR), excluding VAT.

4.2. Billing

4.3. Purchasing additional services beyond the volume included in the Subscription

If You exceed the document volume included in Your chosen Subscription plan, document processing will stop. To continue processing documents within the same month, You may purchase additional services — credit packs (10 documents for EUR 5 or 30 documents for EUR 12) — or upgrade to a Subscription plan with a higher included volume. Purchased credit packs are drawn down automatically as documents are processed beyond the included volume, and do not expire until used or until the account is closed.

4.4. Price changes

We reserve the right to change the Service’s prices and plan parameters. We will notify existing customers of price changes by email at least 30 (thirty) days in advance. New prices will take effect from the next billing cycle.

4.5. Right of withdrawal (for consumers)

If You are a consumer within the meaning of the Consumer Rights Protection Law, You have the right to withdraw from the Service within 14 (fourteen) days of concluding the contract by submitting a written notice of withdrawal to Doctile, sent to the email address: info@doctile.eu. If the Service has already been started with Your express consent, the right of withdrawal is lost.

5. Client obligations and prohibitions

When using the Service, You agree to:

6. Client content and intellectual property

All content that You upload using the Service (invoices, documents, customer data, etc.) remains Your property. By using the Service and performing such actions, You confirm that You have the right to upload and process this content.

You grant Doctile a limited, non-exclusive license to process this content only to the extent necessary to provide the Service, ensure security, and fulfill legal obligations.

The Doctile software, design, trademarks, documentation, and code are the intellectual property of Doctile or its licensors and are protected by the laws of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during the Subscription period.

7. Data processing and GDPR

When processing personal data contained in Client Content (e.g., customer and supplier data in invoices), Doctile acts as a data processor within the meaning of Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), while the Client is the data controller. Detailed information on data processing is included in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which are attached to these Terms and available upon written request sent to privacy@doctile.eu.

Doctile uses certified processors (Google Cloud Vertex AI in the EU region, AWS/Hetzner in the EU region, Stripe), with whom data processing agreements (DPAs) have been concluded. For more details, see also the “Data recipients and processors” section of the Privacy Policy.

8. Service availability and support

Doctile aims to maintain Service availability of 99.5% per month (Starter, Business plans). A separate SLA agreement (99.9% availability) applies to Enterprise customers. Planned maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance.

Customer support:

9. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or close Your account if:

You may close your account at any time by opening account settings → “Close account” or by writing to info@doctile.eu. After the account is closed:

10. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, meaning that Doctile provides the Service without any warranties other than those specified in these Terms, and the Client agrees to use the Service as it is available at the given time. We do not warrant that the Service will operate without errors or interruptions, or that it will meet all of Your business objectives.

Doctile’s maximum liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the Subscription fee paid by the Client for the last 12 (twelve) months prior to the claim being filed.

Doctile is not liable for indirect damages (e.g., lost profit, lost business opportunity, data loss where the Client has not fulfilled its backup obligations), except where the damages result from Doctile’s gross negligence or intentional conduct.

Limitations of liability do not apply to: (a) liability arising from GDPR violations, (b) liability for harm to a person’s health or life, (c) intentional unlawful violations.

11. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to change, supplement, or discontinue features of the Service. We will notify the Client by email or within the Service of material changes at least 30 (thirty) days in advance. If a feature You have actively used is discontinued, we will offer data export or another alternative solution.

12. Force majeure

Neither Party shall be liable for failure to perform its obligations if this results from force majeure circumstances (natural disasters, wars, government restrictions, widespread technical disruptions on the internet, etc.).

13. Dispute resolution

Disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved by the Parties through negotiation. If agreement cannot be reached within 30 (thirty) days, the dispute shall be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

We may update and make changes to these Terms. We will notify You of material changes to the Terms by email or within the Service at least 30 (thirty) days before such changes take effect. If You continue to use the Service after the changes take effect, this will be considered Your acceptance of the new version of the Terms. If You do not agree to the changes, You have the right to close your account before the changes take effect.

16. Assignment

Doctile may transfer its rights and obligations arising from these Terms to third parties (e.g., in the event of company reorganization or sale), by notifying Clients thereof. The Client may not transfer its rights and obligations arising from the contract and these Terms without Doctile’s prior written consent.
